We are a skilled team of boat builders and cabinet makers specialising in wooden boats, using traditional and modern methods.
Our home is just north of Brisbane CBD, on the banks of Breakfast Creek, Albion. At the slipway, we operate two traditional cradle and winch slips, perfect for protecting the structure of older timber boats. We have a hardstand area available for longer projects and a service pontoon.
Whether it be a slip and antifoul, a restoration or a new build, we can offer our enthusiasm, experience and quality workmanship to your project.

Our Services
NEW BUILDS
If you are looking to have a new vessel constructed in timber, come and talk to us about your ideas. We can build from existing plans or collaborate and design a new vessel. At the slipway we can accommodate boats from small dinghies to 50-feet; carvel, clinker, plywood, strip plank and cold molded.
RESTORATION
It’s our passion to preserve older wooden boats; we love their history, charm and character. Whether it be a partial or full restoration, we have extensive knowledge in this area and can guide you through the process.
MODIFICATIONS
Modifying your boat can improve the ergonomics, efficiency, styling or manageability. We can recommend solutions to improve or ideas to enhance your vessel.
MAINTENANCE
Antifoul, anodes, oil change – we offer a full maintenance service. We work closely with other marine contractors where required; electrical, mechanical, plumbing and gas fitting.
REPAIR
Our team has extensive experience with repair work. We offer quality advice and work closely with marine surveyors to achieve the best outcomes for our clients. We are a known and trusted company for insurance work.
FIT-OUT
Getting the fit-out correct is imperative to the functionality of your boat. We have altered, adjusted and re-fit many vessels to improve the enjoyment of boating for our clients.
DECKING
Teak and beech decking is a beautiful feature of any boat. We have the experience needed to give you a quality, long-lasting outcome.
PAINTING & VARNISHING
We use traditional and modern finishes to achieve the best look and durability for your vessel. Spray painting and brush finishes are available.
Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing
Repowering, bow thrusters, tanks, water intakes, fuel systems, electrical systems, plumbing systems, exhaust, stern tubes, propeller shafts, marine batteries, solar panels and more.
FURNITURE
We can build custom timber furniture for your boat or home. We can source new timbers or we have many pieces of beautiful recycled timber available to inspire you.
SIGNAGE
Being a creative bunch we also design and produce boat names, signage and graphics. From hand-carved, laser cut, cast metal, vinyl or painted, we have the know-how.
BRONZE CASTING
Patterns can be made on site for custom fittings including cleats, boat hooks, port holes, signage and more.
We work closely with two Brisbane foundries to produce beautiful custom pieces.

Our Undercover Slip has a 15-tonne cradle with a beam of 14-feet.
OUTDOOR GENERAL MAINTENANCE SLIP
Our General Maintenance Slip has a 15-tonne cradle with a beam of 13-feet.
SERVICE PONTOON
We have a service pontoon available for work to be done in the water.
TEMPORARY WET BERTHS
Available for pick up and drop off of vessels.
HARD STANDING
Available for long term restoration or trailer boats.
